Science is closer than you think! Families, join educators from the Perot Museum of Nature and Science to for fun family experiments on first Saturdays in Klyde Warren Park. Each month will feature a new topic with hands-on investigation and experimentation.

Explore the mysteries of the universe through a fun, hands-on activity.

Bug out with a hands-on experiment to explore the world of insects and creepy crawlers.

November 1 | Numbers

Discover the math that surrounds us through extreme experiments, inspired by our 2theXtreme: MathAlive exhibition.

December 6 | Flight

Discover the science of flight and create your own flying creation.

January 3 | Dino-Bytes

Explore the field of paleontology as we examine fossils up close and learn how scientists cast and study fossils.  

February 7 | Mystery

Grab your detective gear and solve the mystery challenge inspired by our traveling exhibition, Sherlock Holmes: The Science of Deduction.

March 7| Energy

Explore how electricity works and even build your own circuit.

April 4 | Nature

Discover the nature that surrounds us, collect specimens, and examine nature up close.
