LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Looking for a romantic way to spend Valentine’s Day with that someone special? Or, maybe like a lot of us, you are still in search of that plus-one and want to swap the DVR and the latest episode of “The Bachelor” for a night out under the stars, where with a little luck, they might actually align? 

Then mark your calendar for Klyde Warren Park’s annual celebration of Valentine’s Day – Hearts in the Park, presented by Nissan. The festivities happen Saturday, Feb. 10.

Once again this year, the day will start with music, crafts, dancing, trivia, sweet treats and other family-friendly activities. Then, at 6:00 p.m., the Ginsburg Family Great Lawn will transform into movie night for a showing of the very first James Bond flick, 1962’s “Dr. No.” Sean Connery stars as 007, and Ursula Andress plays the first and ultimate Bond girl, Honey Ryder. JFK requested a private screening of the film in the White House, but thanks to Hearts in the Park, you’ll be able to watch for free under the stars. And if you decide to stop by Savor for a pre-movie cocktail, we suggest you order your vodka martini shaken, not stirred.
