Classic Film Series Debuts at Klyde Warren Park

What: Classics at Klyde Warren Park: Klyde Warren Park will host its first classic film series during the month of May. Screenings will take place every Saturday night beginning at 8:15 p.m. on the Ginsburg Family Great Lawn. The series will kick off on Saturday, May 3 with “It Happened One Night.” The Dallas Morning News’ movie critic, Chris Vognar, will host introductions before each screening.

May 3: “It Happened One Night”
May 10: “The Big Sleep”
May 17: “Red River
May 24: “On the Waterfront”
May 31: “North by Northwest”

Klyde Warren Park is a 5.2-acre deck park, bridging Uptown Dallas to Downtown Dallas. The park includes a performance pavilion, restaurant, dog park, children's park, great lawn, shaded walking paths, water features, free Wi-Fi, ping pong and foosball tables, and a reading and games area. The mission of Klyde Warren Park is to provide free daily programs to all visitors. Klyde Warren Park is privately operated and managed by the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
