Nissan to announce landmark sponsorship with Klyde Warren Park

DALLAS, TEXAS (July 7, 2016) – Klyde Warren Park is delighted to announce a landmark sponsorship with Nissan, officially naming the brand a Premier Sponsor and the official vehicle of the Park. To celebrate the partnership, Nissan is unveiling the all-new Pathfinder in the park’s unique urban setting.

A true example of  “innovation that excites,” Klyde Warren Park has changed the landscape of Dallas. By physically connecting downtown and Uptown while providing free programming, events and educational opportunities, the park fosters relationships between community members and supporters.

“Today Nissan joins a wonderful group of benefactors who allow our privately run park to continue to supply the fun for our growing number of guests,” said Jody Grant, Chairman of the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation.

With more than one million visitors and 1,300 free programs in the park every year, Nissan warmly embraced the opportunity to become a Premier Sponsor of the park and a Presenting Sponsor of key signature events. Through the partnership, Nissan will also be a sponsor of the park’s free Wi-Fi and serve as the park’s official vehicle.

“It is my hope that through this multi-year sponsorship, we can help the park continue to produce the exceptional programming and events that the community has come to depend on,” said Jose Munoz, Executive Vice President, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. and Chairman, Nissan North America, Inc.

“There truly is always something to do at Klyde Warren Park, which makes it the perfect setting to debut our new Pathfinder, which is even more ready for adventure than before,” continued Munoz.

The newest SUV in the Nissan lineup, the reimagined Pathfinder, is more capable, powerful and adventure-ready than before.

This new partnership with Klyde Warren Park adds yet another element to Nissan’s, longstanding, 35-year presence in Texas. Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporate (NMAC), Nissan’s financial arm, has been part of the Dallas community since 1981.

In fiscal year 2015, NMAC helped a record number of buyers finance or lease their new Nissan cars and Infiniti cars, trucks and SUVs. Texas is home to 73 Nissan dealerships and 7,000 employees – all who are highly involved in their local communities.
