We’ve joined efforts with popular Oak Cliff bookshop, The Wild Detectives, to bring you the best books by local authors. Introducing the most Dallasite of all book clubs: the LOCALS ONLY book club! A book club at Klyde Warren Park featuring local favorites handpicked by, The Wild Detectives. Grab a glass of wine and a spot underneath a tree in the Dallas Morning News Reading & Games Room for a series of unforgettable evenings.

We’re starting with Mourner’s Bench, a fantastic novel by Sanderia Faye about a girl of color coming of age in Arkansas during the times of the civil rights movement.
