Science is closer than you think! Join educators from the Perot Museum of Nature and Science for fun family experiments on first Saturdays in Klyde Warren Park. Each month will feature a new topic with hands-on investigation and experimentation.


February 3 | Chemistry
Build your own molecules and explore the elemental table.

March 3 | Nature
Discover the nature that surrounds us and examine it up close.

April 7 | Energy
Learn how electricity works by building circuits.

May 5 | Robots
Explore the world of engineering and technology as you create your own robot.

September 1 | Physics
Examine pulleys, levers and simple machines as you make your own catapult.

October 6 | Biology
Explore how our bodies function and examine models of human cells.

November 3 | Dinosaurs (Ultimate Dinosaurs)
Jump in to the field of paleontology as we dig up and identify dinosaur bones in celebration of our traveling exhibition, Ultimate Dinosaurs.

December 1 | Space
Explore the mysteries of the universe through a fun, hands-on activity.
