Free public Star Party

The Texas Astronomical Society of Dallas (TAS) presents a FREE public Star Party with its biggest and most sought after telescopes and astronomers at Klyde Warren Park. Come out and see the planet Jupiter in amazing detail through these telescopes. You won't easily forget seeing Jupiter's Great Red Spot or watching its Moons eclipse and shadow the King of our Solar System.  You can also enjoy the bright stellar objects in the Dallas sky despite the light pollution.

TAS is volunteering telescopes and guides for public stargazing from sundown until the park closes at 11 p.m.

If the weather appears cloudy or rainy, call the TAS Public Observing Hotline to get up-to-the-minute cancellation information 214-800-6000.
