Game Cart Support:
Volunteers will be asked to assist guests at the Game Carts by checking games in and out and assisting guests with Park related questions.
Other Important Details:
- Volunteers are needed on Saturday and Sunday
- Feel free to sign up for one or multiple days
- Volunteers are needed from 12 – 5 PM.
- We will need 2 volunteers per day
- Invite a friend to volunteer with you
- Free parking will be provided

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Applications will be accepted throughout the year, but please note that there are a limited number of volunteer opportunities available.
Q: Can a student under the age of 18 volunteer?
A: While the majority of our programs/events require volunteers to be 18 years or older, there are opportunities for high school students (ages 14-17).
Q: Does Klyde Warren Park allow individuals to volunteer who need to complete Court-Ordered Community Service?
A: No, Klyde Warren Park does not provide Court-Ordered Community Service options.
Q: What is the dress code for a volunteer?
A: All volunteers will receive an official Klyde Warren Park lanyard to wear during volunteer shifts In addition, you will be required to wear a green shirt, appropriate khaki/jean shorts and comfortable shoes. Please keep in mind that you will be volunteering at an outdoor park. Please also refrain from see-through/lace tops, spaghetti straps and low-cut tops. If volunteers are not in proper dress code attire, you may be asked to leave to the Park.
Q: If I am volunteering, can a friend come with me on my shift?
A: Friends or family (who are not chaperoning) should not attend shifts with you unless they are also approved to volunteer, having completed the required process to volunteer.
Q: Are cell phones or other electronics allowed during my volunteer shift?
A: Cell phones and other electronic devices (iPod, gaming systems, etc.) are not allowed when volunteering. If a phone is being used for alarm purposes, it may be allowed, but volunteers are not allowed to actively use while on duty. Volunteers are welcome to access their phones during breaks.
