Sketching in the Park with El Centro College
Grab your sketchbook and join El Centro College for sketching in the park!
El Centro College art instructors lead participants through the park to sketch urban scenes of downtown Dallas. Participants should bring a sketchbook and their choice of media.
Class will meet by the game cart in The Dallas Morning News Reading and Games Room. Class is free and open to all ages
About the Instructor:
DANIELLE KIMZEY is an artist who lives and works in Dallas, Texas. She received an MFA in Painting from the University of Iowa and a BFA in Drawing from Southern Methodist University. Danielle has participated in multiple shows in the Midwest, Southern California, New York, and Dallas. Most recently she has shown her work at Peripheral Vision Arts, the Hawn Gallery at SMU, and Galleri Urbane Marfa + Dallas. She currently teaches art at TCU and El Centro College.
