Exploring the Dallas Arts District

by Annie Black

Can’t wait for Klyde Warren Park to open? Neither can we! Luckily for us, the Dallas Arts District has a million different things going on in the meantime. No need to fret about the close of the amazing Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art – you can get your fix with their newest exhibit, Face to Face: International Art at the DMA, running through June 10. While you’re in the neighborhood, be sure to head next door to the Nasher Sculpture Center to check out Elliott Hundley: The Bacchae, running through April 22, or over to the Crow Collection of Asian Art to for some relaxing Yoga in the Galleries. Feeling theatrical? Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s Cultural Awareness Series runs from February 23 to 26, and be sure to get your tickets now for In the Heights at the Winspear Opera House, opening March 13.

The Dallas Arts District is definitely the place to be!
