Bark in the Park
Kick off your morning with Bark in the Park, a brunch-inspired pop-up designed for dogs and their humans! Join us for a laid-back morning filled with coffee, live music, tasty treats, photo-worthy moments, and plenty of tail wags.
Start your day with a fresh cup from Besso Coffee's mobile coffee cart, conveniently located just outside My Best Friend's Dog Park to welcome guests as they arrive. Stroll through the activation area, mingle with fellow dog lovers, and soak in the weekend vibes while enjoying live music from Will Fitzgerald from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM.
Bring your pup over to the Let's Party Dog Parties photo activation, featuring a fun brunch-themed backdrop complete with breakfast-inspired treats for four-legged guests. Our presenting sponsor, Barney and Boots, will be on-site sharing complimentary dog food samples and introducing park visitors to their premium products.
We'll also feature local pet-friendly vendors, giveaways, and surprises throughout the morning, with additional partners being added to the lineup.
Whether you're stopping by after a morning walk, meeting friends for coffee, or treating your pup to a special outing, Bark in the Park is the perfect way to spend a summer morning together.

“Where Questionable Rhythm Meets Elite Enthusiasm"
WALK THE HYPE™ Happy Hour Experience at Klyde Warren Park is a walking silent disco party for people with questionable rhythm and elite enthusiasm.
Walk the Hype™ is part happy hour, part nostalgic sing-along, part outdoor dance party… and 100% designed to make you smile. This is NOT a workout, although you will walk and move for about 30-40 minutes.
You’ll wear wireless silent disco headphones while walking through Klyde Warren Park with a fun group of people listening to upbeat throwback music, crowd favorites, sing-alongs, and playful hype moments led by self-proclaimed "World's Worst Dancer" Doug Rice.

No choreography.
No dance skills required.
In fact… bad dancers are strongly encouraged to attend. (Good dancers are warmly welcome too, just wanted to warn you in advance)

Each attendee receives their own headphone set, all with 3 different music channels. Each color shows what you're listening to, switching between the three stations changes the channels played by the DJs on stage. Each Silent Disco event has a different theme.
Expect neon lights & electrifying music, while we all dance under the Dallas stars together in the park! Dance like nobody is listening!

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5K
Registration is now open for the 16th Annual American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer North Texas 5K Walk taking place on Saturday, October 31. Join the celebration of courage and hope, and a movement that unites communities to end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer funds lifesaving breast cancer research and is committed to advancing health equity through essential programs and services Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the United States, except for skin cancers. In Texas, more than 24,270 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in 2026 with over 3.400 estimated deaths.

Soccer STEM Challenge
Celebrate the excitement of the World Cup with Uplift Education by designing and building a own mini tabletop soccer stadium using cardstock.
Each participant will choose or represent a World Cup country and customize their field with team colors, flags, and creative stadium features. Once decorated, they will fold the cardstock into a playable soccer field complete with goals and create a folded paper “soccer ball.” The activity culminates in a fun finger soccer tournament, where players flick their paper ball across the field and compete in friendly matches. This hands-on program combines creativity, engineering, cultural exploration, and active play while encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship.

Playdate with LifeTalk
Join Coach Hannah from LifeTalk for an interactive playdate experience! Explore three stations: mindfulness, movement, and nutrition-inspired arts & crafts. Plus, a Pilates-based movement hour from 1:30–2:30 PM focused on breathwork, stretching, and mind-body connection. All ages welcome. See you on May 16th!
