RELAX. Breathe. Move! Join us for FREE Tai Chi classes in the park. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and gym shoes. Tai Chi (Tai Chi Chuan, or Tai Ji) is an internal Chinese martial art. It is known throughout the world for its slow, meditative forms and healthful benefits. Dr. Michael Braitsch PT, DPT teaches Yang Style Tai Chi and Qi Gong (pronounced “chi gong”) classes at Klyde Warren Park. He is a doctor of Physical therapy, a black sash (black belt) instructor of Tien Shan Pai Kung Fu and the internal arts (including Tai Chi and Qi gong).

This fun 5K starts and ends at Mi Cocina in Klyde Warren Park and is the perfect way to kick off your Summer.

Proceeds from the event help support Klyde Warren Park’s free programming and the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas’ community initiatives, benefiting families across the region. KERA Kids Fest

Join Xavier Riddle, Nature Cat and more for KERA Kids Fest!

Kids Fest is free and open to the public, and will take place on the Ginsburg Family East Lawn near the Nancy Best Fountain at Klyde Warren Park from 1 - 4 PM on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

Plaza of the Americas offers $6 parking that can be booked through the Parking page.

Children and parents are invited to a day of kid-friendly fun focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) and to participate in immersive activities that give back to our community. Families will also enjoy appearances by PBS Kids characters Nature Cat and Xavier Riddle, as well as music performances from DJ LC and drummer Baba Kwasi.

KERA is generously sponsored by Scottish Rite for Children. On-site activities include assembling support packages for The Stewpot as well as activities with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Texas Native Cats and the Dallas Museum of Art.

Free Indian cultural event at Klyde Warren Park, includes vendors, free vegetarian food, live music, henna, face-painting, dance performances and a chariot parade through downtown Dallas. This re-enactment of the famous Ratha Yatra parade, also celebrated as the Festival of Chariots, is rooted in ancient India’s bhakti or devotional tradition. It has been observed annually for more than 3,000 years in the holy city of Jagannatha Puri in Orissa, India, making it the world’s longest-running street festival.

RELAX. Breathe. Move! Join us for FREE Tai Chi classes in the park. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and gym shoes. Tai Chi (Tai Chi Chuan, or Tai Ji) is an internal Chinese martial art. It is known throughout the world for its slow, meditative forms and healthful benefits. Dr. Michael Braitsch PT, DPT teaches Yang Style Tai Chi and Qi Gong (pronounced “chi gong”) classes at Klyde Warren Park. He is a doctor of Physical therapy, a black sash (black belt) instructor of Tien Shan Pai Kung Fu and the internal arts (including Tai Chi and Qi gong).
